Role & Tasks:
Co-fοunder – Together with other five members, we funded and developed this project; weekly meetings with the team, finding the field and farmer, communicating the project, engaging members.
Board member – Board meetings to operate the CSA, community engagement activities
Coordinator of communication team – Establishing the communication team and coordinating it
The project:
biocò is the community supported agricultural (CSA) project which was funded in October 2013 in the region of Baden-Brugg. biocò comes from the words biological, cooperation and cò: here, local in Romansh, one of the swiss national languages.
This CSA model consists of members and a farmer, coordinated by a team board with two co-presidents. The farmer guides with instructions to members regarding planting and other related activities. The members share among them the tasks to plant, harvest and deliver the vegetables through an intranet platform.
