The project: Urban farm at Halandri aka Astigos Agros Halandriou was established by a group of graduated students from a permaculture group in Athens at Halandri around 2013. I joined the team in 2016 for a year. I participated to the meetings of the team to co-create a vision about this field. We worked to form a team which can share the tasks and produce vegetables. In this project, I experienced more the team dynamics than the agricultural tasks.

What stays in my memory: During my participation, I experienced how important is to create a common vision to maintain a grassroot project. It has been interesting to observe the similarities and differences in social and cultural context to develop a similar project in Greece and Switzerland.
